Edge Finishing
Our most popular edge finishes are the straight cut edge and the pinked edge. Both of these edge finishes can be done on any size sample. A straight cut edge works well on fabrics that will not fray or unravel. The edge treatment looks clean and does not detract from the pattern or design of the fabric. Although a straight cut edge is often used on man-made materials, we have clients that also prefer that edge treatment on linens and cottons. A pinked, or zig zag, edge is appropriate for most fabrics. We can also produce samples with serged edges, but that option is not chosen as often because of the added expense.
Labeling
Designers often request custom labeling for their sampling products. Labels with their logo on the front and the fabric information on the back give the samples a clean, professional appearance. Labels can be printed in black and white or full color. Fabric memos can have bottom strip labels as well as custom made tags. Header tags can have a drilled hole that allows single memo samples to be bound together on a ring or chain for display.
Custom Covers
Some designers use our custom covers for their fabric and wallpaper samples. Our covers can be made to fit any size samples. They are very cost effective for customers that don’t need a large quantity. We can also cut all the samples needed for them. Custom covers keep samples organized. They are durable, and the fabrics and cover are held together with rivets. Our professional looking covers are suitable for many fabrics including leather.
