Harris Sample Book understands that quality samples enhance our clients’ brands and tell the unique story of their products. Some customers find exactly the textile samples they need in our popular swatch cards, hanging memos, ring sets, fan decks, and other products. Other clients are looking for a different way to showcase their lines. Our typical sampling tools may not be the best fit. Harris Sample Book works closely with designers to create specialty items that can be presented in design studios, showrooms, and at trade show booths.
Custom Tags and Labeling
Labels that accompany samples should include all relevant information a buyer would want to know. This may include the name of the manufacturer, name of the color, fabric content, the pattern and repeat, the cleaning code, and any other special characteristics. The label could also indicate whether any slubs or textures are inherent characteristics of the fabric and not defects in workmanship or the material. These details help customers make a fabric selection that will work for their intended use.
Standard labels can be positioned on the front or back of samples. Header tags can be attached on ring or chain memo sets. The most economical labels are printed in black and white. However, many designers prefer the look of custom tags on their samples, with their designer logo on the front and fabric information on the back. They may prefer their tags to be printed in color. Harris Sample Book works with designers to create a unique, professional tag or label.
Custom Covers, Binders, and Boxes
Harris Sample Book can provide customizable black and khaki memo headers and swatchbook covers for a professional appearance. Standard sizes are for 6 inch and 8 inch samples, but custom sizes can be made for quantities of 50 or more.
We are happy to work with clients on other specialty projects such as custom binders, books, and boxes. Binders can be created with pockets to hold swatch cards, zip drives, business cards, and letter head. These binders make excellent portable sales kits. Specialty boxes are convenient for storing interchangeable swatch cards for expanding product lines.
